The Shoutouts PowerApps Sample Template (get it on https://web.powerapps.com) allows you to send messages and badges to your co-workers for a job well done. In this video I demonstrate how to customize the badges. You can add your own badges and replace the existing badges. It’s very easy to do. Check out the video for a complete walk through that describes the process.
Hey there Todd, our business recently switched over to office 365 and I’ve been looking into its ability to generate boiler plate documents for proposals or client monthly reports. Do you have any advice on how I should go about this ? In particular looking at development of a pricing / proposal powerapp that can generate a PDF or Docx upon completion. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated mate.
Thanks heaps, hope to speak to you soon – Alex
Hi Alex,
You have a couple of options.
1. You could use DocSync 365 to take data from Excel and use it to make boiler plate Word documents.
2. This thread discusses how to use a Flow to make a PDF from information submitted via a PowerApp. https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Discussion/Create-pdf-from-PowerApps-form-and-upload-it-to-SalesForce/td-p/147902
