A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure to present 3 theater sessions with Casey Burke at the Microsoft Business Applications Summit in Seattle, WA.  One of the sessions we presented showed how you can use to Azure to intake, process, analyze, and store IoT data then visualize it in a Microsoft PowerApps app, like this.

The code sample we demonstrated throughout the session has been enhanced and is now available in GitHub.  You can download it here.

We’ve made it very easy to get it up and running in your own Azure and PowerApps subscriptions with a streamlined deployment process that includes an ARM template so you can easily deploy the sample to your own environment and try it out and learn from it.  The repository also includes a thorough description of all the components in the system and how they work together to implement the solution, including a nice architecture diagram like you see here.

In case you missed the session, I will be presenting it again at the Microsoft Ignite conference, in Orlando, Florida this September.  Check out the trailer below.

Drop by the session and say hi, I’d love to hear how you extend the solution for your own organization.
